Home Depot Data Breach Information
On 9/8/14 Home Depot confirmed a data breach on their systems for any customer who has used their payment card at their U.S or Canadian stores from April 2014 forward.
PCMCU will be contacting members whose cards have been affected once we receive the initial card lists. Please note that we will continually receive compromise lists from MasterCard and Visa and we will do our best to keep you updated if your card has been affected. Home Depot has acknowledged that customers will not be responsible for any fraudulent charges to their accounts for anyone who shopped at a Home Depot store in 2014 from April on. They have also announced that there is no evidence of debit PIN numbers being compromised.
PCMCU continues to monitor the situation and will keep cardholders informed of any updates.
